Live in Arizona?
Want to have some quilting fun?
This is for you. Come to my house, in Tucson, and learn how to make a quilt.
What do you have to do?
Let me know you want to come, and what Saturday in August works for you. I will try to accommodate to get it to work for the most people. The workshop will last about 3 hours.
What?
We will be learning how to make Charming Garden.
Bring?
Sewing Machine and basic sewing kit
55 charm squares (5" precut squares) in light/medium/dark colors
3 yards large Ric Rac
Charming Garden is great for beginners. Nothing intimidating here! We will enjoy being together, laughing, learning, and getting something done. I'd love to have all my friends, old, new, and yet discovered come and spend the day with me.
Are you in?
Can I still come even though I already know how to quilt? I would love to meet a fellow quilter/blogger who lives in the same city as I do. The quilt looks so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteOf course you can! All are welcome- experienced and beginner, and everything in between.
ReplyDeleteI must go! I can't wait! The only Saturday that probably wouldn't work...at least in the morning would be the 21st since that's primary activity day.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun. I'm a So. Cal. girl, but this really makes me want to give up the beach and move to Arizona. I'm calling the moving companies tomorrow.

That's the one I want to make for my sister-in-law for her baby... But first you have to help me pick out fabric. I've tried an I can't do it alone. The 21st is bad for me too, I think mom and dad are coming up.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to come -- you know I've been wanting to learn to quilt for a really long time - and this one is so beautiful! The hitch is I can only make it on the 28th. So if that doesn't work for everyone, I totally understand. Just be sure to let me know if you decide to do it again!
ReplyDeleteMega Thanks!
